About the Outage on 2011-04-21

Yesterday, our hosting provider, Heroku, went offline, causing us to have a good bit of downtime. Technically, it was our provider’s provider (Amazon EC2) that went down but that’s really neither here nor there. The point is, we were down yesterday. And from a business/customer relations standpoint, that’s never a good thing. So I wanted to post something to bring everyone to the same page as to where we stand and what we can do.
